Land Acquisition Details:


Out of total land of 7181.01 acres, 6692.97 acres was already acquired.


Infrastructure Activities:


Roads & Drains: Works were completed.

Water Supply System: Works were completed.

Cable Tray Supports: Works were completed.

Boundary Fencing: Works were completed.


Internal Transmission System:

4 Nos. of 220/33 kV Pooling Sub-Stations and connecting line up to 400/220 kV Grid Sub-station; one pooling sub-station for each block of 250 MW. LOI was issued by APTRANSCO on 28.04.2015 for Pooling substation-I and on 15.09.2015 for remaining pooling stations to M/s. Amara Raja Power Systems Ltd. 220/33 kV Pooling Sub-Station-I with 80MVA Power Transformers and connected line was commissioned as detailed below:


1st& 2nd 80 MVA PTR   – 30.04.2016

3rd 80 MVA PTR            – 20.05.2016

4th 80 MVA PTR            – 23.07.2016

For remaining 3 Nos. Pooling Sub-Stations erection works under progress. The pooling substations will be ready as per the commissioning schedule of balance 750 MW which is likely to be commissioned during the financial year 2018-19.


External Transmission System:

400/220 kV Grid Sub-Station at N.P. Kunta is being developed by PGCIL. LOI issued to M/s. Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd on 13.05.15, Transformer Package to M/s Crompton Greaves Ltd on 24.06.15 and Tower package to M/s K. Ramachandra Rao Transmission & Projects Pvt. Ltd. on 15.06.2015. 400/220 kV Grid Sub-Station was charged as detailed below:


500 MVA 400/220kV ICT-1 – 25.04.2016

500 MVA 400/220kV ICT-2 – 01.07.2016

125 MVA Reactor                 – 01.07.2016

500 MVA 400/220kV ICT-3 – 09.07.2016

Evacuation for balance capacity would be ready by August, 2017.


Commissioning Details for Phase-I (250 MW) by NTPC:


100 MW – 30.04.2016

  50 MW – 30.05.2016

  50 MW – 07.06.2016

  50 MW – 10.08.2016
